About me
My name is Alison Cumberlidge and I am currently studying my Bachelor of Education Primary (Honors) through Monash University.
For six years I worked as an Integration Aide at a secondary college, which has given me great insight into the teaching profession and how students learn. I was able to work alongside teachers and other educational staff to provide meaningful lessons and promote inclusion for all students. I learnt many strategies for inclusion and engagement of students with learning difficulties and specials needs which has enhanced my method of teaching throughout my placements in mainstream schools. I find it easy to work with students who may be struggling and give further assistance or explanation.
Throughout this presentation you will learn about my philosophy of teaching and how I have achieved the professional standards for graduate teachers through photos, documents of work I have created and notes from my mentor teachers. Thank you for joining me on my journey to becoming a professional teacher!
