Use curriculum, assessment and reporting knowledge to design learning sequences and lesson plans.
Throughout my most recent placement I was assigned the task of teaching a unit on time in mathematics. Before I got to the school the students had completed a pre-test. I used this knowledge to form the basis of my lessons and progressively moved through the unit until the students became proficient. At the end of my placement I tested the students to see how they had progressed through the unit. The teacher used this data to form part of the students’ assessments for their report.
